The Australian Fauna Laboratories designates the group of researchers around Professor Cooper at UNSW. It has two kinds of collaborations, personal and institutional. The personal collaborations involve Professor Marilyn Renfree from the University of Melbourne (endocrine studies on contracepted macropods), Professor Jennifer Graves from the Australian National University (comparative gene mapping), Dr. Douglas Eckery and Dr Ken McNathy from New Zealand Agricultural Research (endocrine studies on contracepted macropods), Dr Kathy Belov from the Australian Museum (MHC gene cloning) and Dr Kyall Zenger from the Dairy CRC (Marsupial gene mapping).
